moving through the current as the current moves through me ~

gasping for air~
waves pull me under with force
yet resistance from within takes over
lost at shore
the direction of my life shapes itself
internally
fatigued, submerged, treading on water
the sun meets my eyes
with reassurance
and affirmation
glimmers of hope
ride on each crashing
tide
finding hope in peace
finding peace in hope
the will to move forward
carries me through~
