all there ever is.

twenty nine trips.
and so I suppose this is what it feels like
to be greeted by the wet, damp solitude of autumn.
it's recognizing the shift in the air,
surrounded by the canadian rockies
I would be a fool to not take a moment to breathe in the fresh mountain air.
waking to the sight of larch trees having turned, on the way to shedding their yellow needles before hibernation.
a season of birth and renewal.
how I continue to dream of the depths of turquoise blue after having met ms. louise at the lake
the way that the sunlight meets the glacier and reflects a polaroid picture back to me with such ease as an invitation
in stepping into this time of reflection, of being
one with the earth and Her gifts
that She so effortlessly continues to share, though many days we are not deserving
of holding Her flowers.
the power of healing and restoration
that can be found through mindfulness.
I stop and pray.

it's the way I see the world in color now
the old having washed away my tears
it's when you're able to encounter peace within the journey, not questioning why but an acceptance in allowing for appreciation of how you've gotten here in seeking out this life
that was waiting for you all along.
it's coming back to a remembrance that you are divinely chosen and that every day is a beautiful day to be here.
it's in the animals and wildlife I gaze at in awe, wonder, and amazement, that serve as extensions of myself. those I've lost along the way, reincarnated in new layers of skin. love is experiencing them in a new form.
as God continues onward with a paintbrush
creating something worthy of sitting with for a while
liberation has taught me the art of noticing resistance and questioning it
as I look around and observe while acknowledging the beauty of the world, I am reminded of the power that exists within me.
when I exhale cries of inadequacy,
I find abundance in the green that surrounds me.
each day is a new blessing and beginning,
an opportunity for change.
what a gift. I continue to protect my resilient heart. in the midst of it all. thank you, thank you, thank you. for having opened my eyes, as I return for this here and now moment. all there ever is.
