true to frank
dear one,
if you could see what I see, you'd see yourself as brave, courageous and unapologetically free. If you could see what I see, you'd recognize the beauty, openness and love you bring to spaces you reside in. if you could see what I see, you'd remember that you will never be defined by the things that have happened to you, but by the strength and resilience you've fostered that have allowed you to emerge from these places of sorrow and grief as a human more connected internally and truthful to the core. if you could see what I see, you'd see through the eyes of the divine, the one who made you as you are and encouraged you to come here and stay for a while, simply being, inviting you into this thing called life as the observer. and so in the midst of all of this, I remind you to return to the breath. to come back to the life source that nourishes and sustains through every hardship and shortcoming. inhale that of which allows feelings of delight and wholeness, while finding the spaces where authenticity grows. and so before you rest your head, be reminded that each exhale allows for a new opportunity and chance to show up. as a lover, friend, brother, son, neighbor, fellow human. a fresh start. a chance to find yourself again on the way home. I choose the life that causes me to fall apart and come together again. there, light emanates.
