Beautifully Beloved
How do I know when it is truly time to let go? Is it how I feel when I set my eyes on a faraway sunset - or the inner guidance I receive when meandering off the beaten path in a Pacific Northwest forest. It is God that meets me in the most profound, inexplicable ways - through a careful, gentle emerging that prompts me to pause, to slow down, to reflect. The art of being still. He shows his face to me through others, in the nudges pivoting me more deeply inward - through encouragement and affirmations that empower me to continue sharing my heart, my time, my story, my honesty.
Join me in creating a new world. Greet the tulips beside you on your morning walk. Pray to that of which speaks to you - that of which allows you to recognize all that lay beneath the surface in this wild existence of ours. Beloved, you being here is simply a miracle. Bow to the sun in gratitude for the ways it blesses your skin on days you find yourself wishing the heat away. For my life shifted the day I met a man who told me about the beauty of being alive. That no moment was promised. That each breath was one to be savored.
I experience the world differently now. It's the way I encounter the water from a morning shower. My sins are forgiven, and I stand in awe, renewed. It's how I admire my food before me, thanking the places it traveled to and from in order to be on my table. Isn't all life is an opportunity to invite more humans beside you to share and bask in the nourishment one can receive from a simple plate of lentils and rice? Community allows me to be a humble servant in this life. Authentically Frank. For I think about the ways my feet sink into the wet soil after rain. How I learn more about myself by showing up with a soft smile in the mirror before resting my eyes.
Do you still see me here? God has called me more deeply into my Divine purpose. For the answers continue to be revealed to me as I seek to be a better human in all forms. Creativity allows me to roam free. Sharing light is the journey. I bow in gratitude for the roof above my head. To love, to surrender, to fail, to fall short. I wouldn't have it any other way. My life is in your hands.
