a whisper in the wind
Losing myself and finding myself more than ever these days. This season of life has been overwhelmingly full of blurred lines. Feeling stretched by the discomfort of the daily highs and lows. Yearning for a place of solace. How I stand in awe of the quietness, yet bravery of the pine trees and their needles whistling beneath me as the cold air gently grazes my cheek bones. Aspiring to be one with them.
I think about the roots of our ancestors - places that we've been carried to and returned home from. We often take the ordinary for granted. What a grand mistake that can be. Those simple moments of connectedness and feeling a sense of belonging - to something much greater than ourselves are opportunities for growth that we're invited into. Practicing peace. Living into the unknown. Learning that's it's okay to cry. Loving my heart. Being one with others. Acknowledging my spirit. Finding grace in being alive.
